September is here!!! You would think it would be cooling off- but no, its not!


We had Labor day weekend to start things off! We just hung out and got things done around the house on Saturday. On Monday, the Lovelady's came over. We painted rocks, went and got pizza, then went to Crystal Bridges and hid/found rocks. It was a lot of fun!


Then Wednesday, September 7, Nana and Papa came to town! We always love when they come! You of course got spoiled! On Friday, September 9, BRODY turned 5 years old! How is that even possible???? It still feels like you are my little baby that I just had! Mommy and daddy came to school and had lunch with you (Chick-fil-a!). Nana and Papa picked you up. Later we went to the Amazeum!! Then we went home and Brody wanted Marco's pizza, so thats what we had! Along with cupcakes!! We gave you your new BIKE and legos. You had a bit of trouble with your bike but we made it!


Saturday, Lolly and Peeps made it in! We told them we were having a baby with baby cookies. They were so excited! Nana said she knew and Lolly cried! Then it was time to head to the community center for your party Brody! You had a swim party. You loved it for a while, then you got cold and didn't want to do it anymore. But thats ok. We got you a huge cookie cake and met in the room there. Then you got to open LOTS of gifts from grandparents, aunts and uncles!!! Sunday we went to church and Lolly and Peeps had to go. We hung out with Nana and Papa that evening and then they left on Tuesday.


On Monday, we got to see Peanut for the first time! The heartbeat was 170 and the baby looks good!! We can't wait to meet you little one!


Brody, you have started soccer on the U5 team. You are on team Burn with Brecken, Coach KC, Elliott, Eli, Elijah, Ari, and Henry. You have slowly gotten more and more agressive!! You helped make a goal last weekend!!! We cant wait to watch you get even better!!


The next weekend we took family pictures. At the end we showed you the cookies and told you about the baby! Yall were excited! Not quite sure what to expect, but excited! We're going to be a family of 5!!!!!


B you have had a rough time with sickness! Stomach bug, then strep (with really weird headaches you cried with), and croup! Hopefully you are past that!


The last weekend in September, yall got a whole weekend with just daddy as mommy went on retreat. I think we all had a great time!!!

August 2016

School starts!


I can't believe another year is starting already! The week mommy went back to school, yall went to the last wek of summer school at IHI. Yall of course did awesome! You love school and your teachers, and friends.

We celebrated daddy's birthday this month! We just had friends (Lovelady's and Shaffer's) come over and hang out and we grilled out. We have been watching the Olympics too!


The week mommy started school yall had off! So, daddy had to stay home some with you and Ms. Lauren came over too (yall loved having her!) Mommy's first week went well and it should be a good year!


Yall were both so excited to start the new school year! Brody, you are now in Ms. Maria's class. Payton, you are in Ms. Amanda's class. Yall had an awesome first week and both did so well!


Thats about all for this month. We are starting new routines and getting ready for a great school year!


Mommy and daddy also found out that we are having baby #3! You don't know yet but we are so excited to tell you!!!

June/July 2016

Wow! What a summer!


We had the first two weeks off of summer to just hang, play with friends, and do whatever we wanted. We went to the creek with Cole and Finley, went to Amazeum, swimming, played outside, went to parks, had COle and Finley come over, and lots of fun stuff.


Then you started swim lessons! Brody - you did awesome. You got right back into the swing of it and learned lots of new stuff and did great. Payton - you did not like "blowing bubbles" for the first week or so. By the end you were comfortable in water and blowing bubbles!!


Brody, one day you were playing with bubbles and they were going every where and you said "Holy macaroll smokes!" It was the cutest, funniest thing ever! You have started getting scared in your room more often. We have been praying and doing night lights to help.


We went to a fishing derby to catch some fish. We did end up catching one and it scared you and payton to death! It was actually really funny! :) You two did not think it was. We will try again next year lol.


Brody when you play, you like for us to do what you want. So you say, "its like you said, or it's like you did". Its pretty funny.


Payton, you love playing with brody and can hold your own!! You are energetic funny and miss priss! You are sassy and will tell you "no" in a heartbeat! We have our hands full!!


So the third week of June, we headed to Houston to for Lisa and Jose's wedding. Mommy was the photographer, so Nana and Papa came to help. We swam and everyone loved seeing how big you were! From the wedding, you went to Nana and Papa's house for a few days! You went on Sunday and they brought you hom Wednesday. Mommy and daddy missed you lots (but also enjoyed time with just us!). When you got to our house, you were there a few days. Daddy went to camp on Friday. Mommy stayed and coached Brody at your last t-ball game! Then mommy headed to camp. From there, Nana and Papa took you to St. Louis(Saturday). Mommy then drove to St. Louis to meet yall on Monday. We went to the zoo, museum, and did the Arch. We had lots of fun! Thursday, we headed back to Bentonville!


On Saturday, Mommy and both of you headed to Amarillo. Daddy had to stay for church. We got to Amarillo Saturday and Sunday we headed to Colorado (daddy got there Sunday night). Monday in Colorado we just hung out and played. We took the rental car back and went to the fourth of July festival in Woodland Park. Then we did fireworks that night.


Tuesday, we hung out and hiked and did lots of fun stuff around the cabin. Wednesday, we went to North Pole City. Brody, you LOVED all the rides. You did almost all of them. Payton, you hated them and did like 2! Thursday, we went shopping in town. Friday, we went to Olympic training center and Garden of the Gods and had lunch with Tomy and Mendy.


Saturday we headed to Amarillo. Sunday we had baby Molly's dedication, and Monday we headed home!!!


From there we had about 3 weeks of summer left! We played lots, went to Little Giggles, and just had fun together. Mommy and daddy said decided to do a family vacation together, so we went to Kansas City! We went to a Rangers/Royals game (it was so hot!), went to an art activity, science museum, and walked around the town! We all loved it!

It's May!! It is going by so, so fast!!!!


This month is exciting! We got to welcome baby Molly and Payton had a birthday!


We decided to do Payton's birthday party on April 30. It is close to May 1 and helps Lolly get back for Molly's birth!

We had the party at the church! The kids all played in the gym for a little while. Then we came in the hospitality room and we did sunshine stuff! Yall painted flower pots and planted "sunflower" seeds, you finger painted to make rain clouds and sunshines, and you played with stamps that were sunshine! It was such a fun and cute party! You had lots of friends there and we had a blast!


Molly was born on May 5, 2016!! She is perfect and doing great!! We already love her so much! We wanted to go see her but we couldnt get away! We will go at the end of the month.


We finished school this month!!! We all finished the friday before Memorial day! We still had lots of tball this month and finishing last minute things before school was out!


The friday we got out, we headed to Amarillo to meet baby Molly! She is precious and perfect. We are all so in love with her! We stayed until the Tuesday after memorial day and headed back. Mommy had to do a few more days of in service and so we had to find you all some babysitters - but you did great! Mommy finished up and now it is summer time! Wahoo! Cant wait for a fun summer with you both!

April 2016

Hey kiddos! This is a busy month!


On April 2, Brody and Daddy (as coach) started t-ball! It was a bit of a disaster in the first practice, but it got better with every practice! The boys learned how to run the bases, hit, and basic throwing and catching. April 16 was the first game! You did good Brody! The other team was really good, but we tried our best! Mommy is the team mom and helps with batting and stuff. Payton, you were kid of every where so that made it hard, but we made it through!


Brody, you and mommy and Avery and her mommy went to the strawberry patch one sunday afternoon and you loved it! I loved it too! It was a lot of fun! We got lots and lots of strawberries!

This month, we also went to first friday and had a fun evening spending time together!!! Our month was filled with lots of t-ball, school, church, and time together!
