The Dub Shack: June 2013

Brody,

Mommy is so excited to have the summer off with you!! We are going to have so much fun!

1st week of June: You went back to school for a few days because mommy had to do some stuff for teachers. I got it out the way quick so I could have my summer off with you! You did great and had lots of fun!

2nd week: You and mommy had lots of fun! We went to Toddler Time at the library, we went to the splash pad and park with Zaylee, we played in our pool in the backyard, you played with the water hose and LOVED it, and we took several walks with Maverick. It is hot but not too unbearable. We ran to Tulsa this week to drop off Tornado relief items to the Wallace family. You were a champ in the car! We also discovered Little Giggles play gym this week. Oh.My.Word you LOVE it! You just run around like crazy in there. I had so much fun watching you!

3rd week: We did a lot of the same things we did last week! We are just having fun spending time with each other and doing whatever we want to do! We also have been running some errands but you do great! Mommy and Daddy went to Tulsa Thursday night to see Lion King to celebrate their 5 year anniversary. Miss Melanie came and stayed with you and you were such a good boy. You listened well and went down well. You just didnt like your bath time :) We also played with play dough, played in the backyard, and played with the water hose.

4th week: We had more play time, went swimming, did Little Giggles, park time, walk time, we did finger paints and coloring, and just had a blast! On Thursday we headed to Amarillo for our trip to Colorado with Lolly and Peeps and Stephie and Matt. You did great in the car. We stopped halfway in OKC to see Difab and Jeff and Maegan so that broke the trip up for us! You loved the playground at the food court. This was the first time mommy really let you go play in an area I wasn't in and just kept an eye on you. You did awesome little man! On Friday, we headed to Colorado and it was a long trip and day! You did great. You got restless towards the end but overall you were a champ! Saturday, we just hung out at the cabin and you loved just running around! You had two days in teh car! :)

Health: You had great health in June! The only issue we had was some diaper rashes. Your tush is sensitive!

Personality: Boy do you have one! You are such a joy to watch. You LOVE your puppy, to push cars, Elmo, read books, build blocks, swim in our little boy, go on walks, swing, slide, and go up and down steps.

Sleep: You have been sleeping until about 7:30-7:45! Ill take it! That is great. You are sleeping very well!

Eating: Still not such a great eater but we are working on it. Your favorites are strawberries, avacados, cheese, turkey, and Go-Go strawberry applesauce.

Milestones:

You are about 24 pounds and about 27 inches tall.

You bring a lot of joy to our lives! Mommy is cherishing this time off with you this summer! I am loving every second and I love my time with you. We pray for you daily buddy and we will always have your back. We love but Jesus love you more - dont forget that!:)
