The Dub Shack: July 2013

Brody,

We are still in summer but July was much busier for us! I felt bad for you because we were on the go so much, but you handled it very well buddy!

1st week: We were still in Colorado this week. Sunday we went to Cave of the Winds and did a ropes course. You did not want to nap so we all took turns and held a grumpy Brody :). Mommy decided to drive around the parking lot waiting for everyone so you could go to sleep. It worked! :) This week we went on several really long hikes (which you feel asleep on :)), we went to the zoo, up Pikes Peak, shopping in Old Colorado, and lots of fun at the cabin together! It was a great week with the Webster's. We started the drive back Friday to Amarillo and finished Saturday home. We were all pooped! By Saturday night, you were done being in the car!!

2nd week: You and mommy had another week at home playing. We swam, went on walks, did crafts, watch videos, relaxed, and enjoyed each other. Thursday - Saturday Mommy went to Dallas to see Nana and Aunt Lynnlee. You had a fun weekend just you and Daddy! But Mommy was ready to get back to see you!

3rd week: You and Mommy had another few days together until Thursday. Thursday we went to OKC and met Lolly and Peeps. You went to their house while Mommy and Daddy took the youth to camp. It was very hard for Mommy to leave you but you had so much fun! You played outside in the pool, rode in a play car, saw people at church (you weren't very friendly though), played with Stephie and Matt, played with Jared, and got lots of phone calls and face time with Mommy and Daddy!

4th week: We picked you up on Tuesday from OKC from Lolly and Peeps and headed home. We were home until Sunday just relaxing and having more fun.

5th week: We headed to Dallas on Sunday. Nana and Peeps met us in Dallas. They took you to their house while Mommy and Daddy went on a mission trip with the youth group. You had a blast. You went to a water park, to the Morales' pool, on walks, to church (again, not so friendly), and you had a blast with Cooper. Nana said yall just chased each other screaming. You stayed there until August 4.

Eating: Eating about the same. However, you LOVE ketchup now and love dipping hot dogs and nuggest in it. Everything else is pretty much the same.

Sleeping: You are still doing great sleeping!! Keep it up bud!

Love: To go outside, high five, fist pump, wrestle, watch vijays (videos), blow kisses, give kisses and hugs, be tickled, play with Mav, go on walks, be chased.

Although July was busy and we missed you lots, we had so much fun with you this month buddy! We are ready to get back into a schedule though! You not only bring so much joy to Mommy and Daddy but to all your family and all those you are around.
