Hello crazy world!
What we thought would be a few weeks of quarantining is looking to be a whole lot more. We have been quarantining and doing online school since the middle of March. We don't go out to eat, or playgrounds, or church. Everything is pretty much shut down because of COVID-19.
School is not the easiest at home. I hate that you are missing out on field trips, class parties, and being in an actual classroom. However, I know this is the best thing for everyone to try and keep everyone safe.
This month: Mommy did runs a few times a week, we played outside a lot, Brecken turned 3, we supported the hospital staff by joining a parking lot full of people and honking and yelling for them, Mommy learned to cut Brody's hair, we dyed Easter eggs, we had an Easter egg hunt in our backyard, we celebrated EASTER at home - JESUS IS RISEN!, did family zoom calls, facetimed with friends, made drawing videos, and lots of walks and bike rides, and lots of time outside!
For Brecken's birthday party, we celebrated at home during the day. In the afternoon, we had friends drive-by and celebrate! It was different but what we had to do to stay safe! Guess I will use all those Toy Story decorations next year. :(
I have no idea how the next few months will look, but we will make the best of it. I love you all so much!
Mom
