The Dub Shack: January 2014

Hey Bubs!

January has been a fun and crazy month! Here's what went down.

We finished making our family rounds the first week of January for family Christmas'. I cannot believe you had your 3rd Christmas and New Years. It just seems like yesterday that it was your first one!

We finally got home on Jan. 4th from traveling. We got to spend time Sunday with the Snodgrass' to celebrate Mommy's birthday. It just so happens that it snowed that Sunday. Snow here means - SNOW DAYS! As much as I don't like snow days because Mommy will loose money on maternity leave - i LOVE them because I get some time with you! And I sure do love that! We spent our time playing, going to Little Giggles, and lots of giggling. We had snow days Mon - Wed and went back to school on Thursday. Then a few weeks later, we had more snow days! 3 more! We colored, finger painted, went to Little Giggles and saw Cole (you loved that!), watched movies, went to visit daddy at church and play, and just had fun together! I love these moments with you!

You have been doing great at school. You have gotten the sad chair a few times for pushing kids or not listening but for the most part you are doing great! So proud of you little man. I wish you didnt have to go everyday. Maybe one day.

You are getting better about saying "no" to people but we are still working on it. :) You are doing pretty well with tantrums too. Not too many! :) Hopefully we can keep up that. You are doing well with sleeping and you are starting to try more things with eating which makes mama real happy! It gives more variety!

You have loved sitting on your big boy potty this month. You havent gone yet but hopefully you will soon! We would love to have you potty trained by the time Payton gets here!

We love spending time with you so much little man. Even just everyday life and playing with you is a blast! Your laugh, dance moves, and smile bring a smile and so much joy to Mommy and Daddy's life. You are our pride and joy and we are so blessed and thankful God choose us as your parents!

You are learning and talking so much these days! I feel like I hear/see something new from you every day. We pray for you daily that you would follow the Lord and choose to seek Him daily. We pray for your future friends and wife and that they would know the Lord as well. We hope we set a good example of Jesus for you buddy. Know you are loved more than words could ever express! Love you baby boy!
