October 2015

Brody and Payton,

Whew! This was a busy month for us! We did lots of walking outside/riding bikes, playing outside, and busy running around!

We enjoyed several days going to the Amazeum! You both love going. Brody, you love climbing in the leaves. Payton you love the water area!!

We went to more football games!! The weather has been beautiful! We also got family pictures done!! You kiddos did great!

Mommy and daddy took the youth on fall retreat so you got to have a weekend with Lolly. Brody - you still remember us leaving you in the bus last year for fall retreat! You kept asking why we did that and left you - breaks my heart! You were much better this year because you did not come to the church. we said good bye at home! Yall played, went to the store, went to the Amazeum, and got introduced to muffins - you are now obsessed! :)

We all got our flu shots this month! Everyone did ok, except Brody. You flexed and it hurt you pretty bad. You also had a reaction. Your leg was red for days! But it finally cleared up!!

Mommy's engine also died on October 11. Come to find out, we would have to replace the whole engine. The Lord led us to get a new car. So now mommy doesnt have the Flex but a new Kia Optima! It is an adjustment going from a large SUV to a car, but we are thankful to be able to get it! And you kids love it!!

We went to Mark and Lauren's again for Trick-or-Treating! Brody - you were a cowboy and Payton -you were a ladybug! Brody had a blast going door to door with Luke! Payton was fine just being held! You sang the whole time girl! Luckily it was much warmer this year!

Then we went back to Mark and Laurens for a snack. Brody - your leg got real red so we had to hold you down and give you benadryl!

It has been a fun, busy, trying, month! We are so thankful for all the Lord has done for us. Always remember, the Lord is good!!!

Brody and Payton,


We got to have lots of fun this month!


September 12, we celebrated your 4th birthday Brody! We had a party at Memorial park. It was a minion birthday party! You had lots of fun. Ty, Cole, Finley, Sulli, Jasper, Avery all came to celebrate with you!! Also, Nana, Papa, Lolly, Peeps, Uncle Matt and Aunt Stephie, and Uncle Jared and Aunt Kelsi all came to celebrate too! We got to celebrate you lots!!!


We also got Labor day off. We got to play lots this month. We went on many walks as the weather has been beautiful!!! We are just getting in to the swing of things with school. You both are doing great!!!


Brody - you had your 4 year check up this month! you are a little over 3 feet tall and weigh 30 pounds - skinny boy! You look great! You had to get shots and that was a bit traumatic! Payton, you had to get your blood checked again for levels and they are all good now!


Brody - you started soccer this month! You are doing Little Kicksters through Bentonville Parks and Recreation. You are learning the basics of soccer and mommy and daddy are able to be on the field and help too! You are picking it up and enjoying it! Payton - you love watching bubba play and have your snacks. We practice Tuesdays at 5 pm and Saturday at 11.


We also did lots of watching youth do their thing at football games (which you both love!) and other things. Payton-you got to attend your first football game this month and you loved it!


Mommy went on retreat one weekend and you got to spend the weekend with daddy!

August 2015

August!!! We got to go to Orange Beach the first week of August with Nana and Papa and the Mosers. We had fun although, Brody, you had a bit of a hard time with some behavior issues. We are looking forward to you being back in school and having a routine. You do much better. But you both loved playing with your cousins.


Brody, you were not sure about the ocean at first. You just wanted to play in the sand. We finally got you in the ocean and you loved jumping the waves! We built sand castles, destroyed sand castles, found sea shells, and played in the water. Payton, you did not so much like the ocean. You did not like the way the sand felt on you and the water was too cold for you! :)


The resort had lots of pools and slides. Boy did yall love these! We spent lots of time swimming and you both loved it!! Brody, after your swim lessons you are swimming like a champ! Go under, down slides, and jumping in. Payton, you like to wade and swim in the water but not under yet. You will take swim lessons next summer!


After that we headed home. Mommy went back to work the next week and yall went to IHI for the last week of summer school there even though you hadnt gone in the summer. You both did great of course! Ms. Heather said Brody was a different kid and so well behaved! Good job bub. At least you behave well at school :) Just kidding! Payton, you were a champ - such an easy going baby. Good job sweet pea!


The next week IHI was out so Nana and Papa came and stayed wtih you. You had fun going to the community center, parks, and playing at home! Yall always love when they come and get spoiled! ;)
The next week started the school year for IHI. You both bumped up classes. Brody is now in Ms. Hollie's class with Ms. Cara Beth and Ms. Tammi and Payton is in Ms. Paulette's class with Ms. Tasha. You both love your classes and do awesome! Youre eating lunch well, napping well (for the most part...Brody :)), and doing great. We are so proud of the both of you. Mommmy wishes she could go part time - but with the cost still of day care and other things I cannot. But just know I want to but I am doing what is best for you guys and doing it because I love you. I am so proud you go to school like champs and do so well! Makes it easier on mommy being away from you!!


We had some youth events, church, lots of walks (and Brody you are learning your Stridor bike so well!), outside playing, Amazeum time, and just lots of fun with you guys! Payton, you had your 15 month check up with shots :(. You did great. Your iron is still a little low so we will check it again next month!

June and July 2015

School's out for the suuuuuuummmmmmeeeerrr!
Wahoo, mommy is so excited to have this time with you! I still had to work the first week of June so yall got some Nana and Papa time!


Brody - you started swim lessons. You were a little leery and cried for about the first two days of lessons. After that you slowly got better and better. By the end of it you were going under, jumping in, and actually liking swimming! We are so excited that you love swimming now and are enjoying it!!! It was well worth the money. Payton - you were a trooper and watched Bubs during lessons and just hung out. You are a very easy baby!


The next week, mommy and daddy headed to NYC for their anniversary trip!!! It was hard to leave you guys (especially for mommy) but yall did great!!! You went to Lolly and Peeps house. Mommy and daddy had a great time but sure missed you!!! We got home and had a couple weeks at home. We did some play dates with Cole and Finley, went to the library, went swimming, went to Little Giggles, and made lots of Forts and Lego towers at home.


Payton, we took you to the ENT the first week of June. On the 27th, you had tubes put in! You did great with the surgery but had a hard time coming out of anesthesia. You screamed....a lot. But by the evening you were awesome! Hopefully this will fix your ear issues!


We celebrated the 4th of July by watching Fireworks and First Baptist in Centerton and Brody loved the inflatables! Payton - not so much! But we had fun watching the fireworks and Brody, you really got into this year!


The next week, mommy and daddy headed to Louisville, Kentucky with the youth for Nazarene Youth Conference. Nana and Papa came to Bentonville. It rained a lot this week but yall at lots of fun at home, going to parks, and the "ummunity center" as Brody calls it. They have a pool there.


We missed you again! We got back and headed to Uncle Jared's wedding. Both did awesome during the wedding. Brody pulled you Payton down the isle in a wagon - so cute!!!


Then we had a few weeks at home. The Amazeum opened up in Bentonville so we got our year pass for it. Yall LOVED it! We will be going there often. We went three times in about a week and a half! There is so much fun stuff for you to do and it will be a great place to go in the winter too!!


We had so much fun with playdates with Cole and Finley to Little GIggles, the park, the splash pad, exploring creeks! We built forts and towers at home and went on lots of walks. We LOVE summer time although it went WAY to fast this year! :)


The first week of August we headed to Orange Beach for family vacation - but that will be in the August post. :)

May 2015

Happy May!! I cannot believe it is already May. School will be ending soon and summer will soon be starting! And I cannot wait!!!

Brody - you are finishing in Ms. Heather's class. You have done so well in there this year and I have seen you grow in so many ways. Your speech has taken off, you are more clear, you can participate in a classroom, and your personality is really coming out. You are more imaginative and you have friends that you love playing with!! You are good at counting (in English and Spanish), say your ABC's, count and do colors in Spanish. You are loving playing hide and seek. You really are in to Ninja turtles and ghost. You like to hold up your horns and say "Hook Em Horns!". You tell people you can't put them down either! Good Job Buddy!!!


Payton - you had a great year in Ms. Michelle's room! Everyone says how much they love you in there! You are offically walking every where this month! You were walking at your birthday, but as the month progressed you got better and better!! You did have your 1 year appointment and had to get 3 yucky shots and a finger prick! We have to give you some iron supplements, but you are overall healthy! You like to wave right now and say bye bye! You also got double pink eye! It was bad!!! Your left eye was swollen shut. You also had........you guessed it, another ear infection. We are headed to the ENT now.


The first weekend we had sweet Pea's birthday party! Everhett Emerson, Addison Bailey, Cole and Finley McElfresh, Hatcher and Hayes Harris were some of the kiddos who enjoyed your party!! We had Lolly and Peeps, Nana and Papa, Aunt Steph and Uncle Matt, and Uncle Jared and Aunt Kelsi all come down!! We loved celebrating you! It was a pink and gold theme and was so fun to do! We had it at our new house! We also got to enjoy first friday, the park, and chick fil a on your birthday!


This month we went to the Bentonville Film Festival, enjoyed time with family, got to celebrate being a mommy to 2 wonderful kids (yall got me a massage! and I had a crazy lady doing my massage :)), and spend time with daddy and grandparents.

IHI got out of school before mommy, so daddy stayed home with you for a week, then lolly came and stayed, then nana and papa came and stayed with you. We had lots of fun playing with you two and watching you grow!!

April 2015

April was such a crazy busy month! Mommy and Daddy closed on the new house on April 3!!! We moved on April 4th! Brody you were such a big helper. You loved helping carry things and move them. You worked so hard and for a long time! You didnt take a nap and did great!


April 4 - after moving all day, we went to Pastor Mal's birthday party. We did an Easter Egg hunt and had fun with friends from church. You loved finding the eggs on the trail Brody. Payton, all you wanted was one egg to chew on.


Sunday was Easter. Brody, the Easter bunny brought you Big Hero 6 movie!!! You are so obsessed with that right now! And of course some M&M's. Payton you got your first baby doll with a bottle and sippy cup and some yogurt puffs!


It took a little adjusting to our new house. Brody you did not quite get why we werent at the old house any more. The new room scared you a little at night by yourself. But you adjusted fairly quickly! A lot of April was spent unpacking in the evenings and getting things together!!!


Our days were pretty normal during the month. We had a lot to do at home but not many events going on. We had Amazing Race on April 24 and Lauren came and watched you all. You both did great as always! We also had the spaghetti auction for IHI. Brody, you literally danced in the middle of the gym for an hour. You thought it was a big chapel service!


Brody - you are doing well in school and learning so much. You really love to spell right now. You want us to spell everything for you! You are sleeping pretty well in your room but having a few issues. You love playing in your new big back yard, riding your electric car, playing with the bubble machine, playing hide and seek, doing your letters with play dough, writing your numbers on my phone, and playing with payton!


Payton - you took your first steps this month!!!! You took them on April 12, 2015 at life group. You took about 3-4 steps several times. We were so excited! You also started eating a few solids this month. You are obsessed with strawberries. You eat them all the time and love them! You hardly use your paci and you are sleeping much better! We did the Sleep Sense program and it worked for you! You sleep through the night (no more 2 feedings) and put yourself to sleep! Way to go sis! You love playing with your brother and "little people" toys. You also got another ear infection and double pink eye!!!

Everyday being your mama is such a blessing from God. I love it and you more and more every day! I love watching you grow and spending every day with you! I cant wait for our days to come. I love you both so very much! Brody, always be a gentleman. Always know you can be whoever you want to be and be a man of integrity and Godliness. Be the example. You are worth so much. Payton, always remember how beautiful you are and that beauty is from the Lord. You can be anyone you want to be! Lead by example. March 2015

March is a funa nd crazy month!
We got to have spring break this month!That means we had a week off together! We found out that we had to either extend our rent or move out. March was spent with a lot of house shopping and packing! But you kids rocked going with the flow. You are both a tad confused on what is going on but you are doing good!


We had snow days March 4 and 5! Payton-you HATE the snow! Brody you liked it and you loved sledding this year! Which makes me happy. I am so glad you like you now!! We played in the snow and sledded and went to little giggles.


Brody - you have had some nightmares lately. Some of the ones you have had was daddy putting fire on your head and Mr. Peabody was trying to kill you. I hate when you wake up crying and scared. Luckily, you calm down fairly quickly and go back to sleep pretty easily.


Payton - you got another ear infection!!! This is your 3rd in three months. It was a double ear infection this time!! They gave you augmentin and I hated it for you! It gave you diarrhea and that turned in to a horrible diaper rash. I felt horrible for you!!! After the meds were gone your bottom healed pretty quickly.


On Monday of Spring break we went to Tulsa. We took you kids to the zoo. Brody, you LOVED the sea lions and riding the train. Payton, you were happy in the stroller all day just looking around. We went from 10 am - 4 pm and you kids did not fuss once! Yall passed out in the car. We then went to see Eric and Sybil and their boys. Brody, you had fun playing dress up with them. We had dinner then headed home. Tuesday, we went to the park and hung out together. Wednesday, we went to Little Giggles with Cole and Finley and the park. We also got ice cream! Thursday and Friday we packed and got things ready to move.


It has been a fun month with you kiddos! You both are growing and learning so many new things. It is so fun to be your mommy! I love you both more than you will ever know!

Happy 1st Birthday Payton!

Payton Noelle,

You are 1 years old! I cannot believe it. It literally feels like just yesterday I was meeting you for the first time and now you are one!

You are such a joy sweet girl. You laugh/squeal can literally brighten up a room. You are cute as all get out! You are such a happy baby. Your nursery workers always say how happy you are and how great it is to have you in the room. And its true - because you light up any room!

You have brought more love into our lives and we are so thankful! I didn't realize I could love someone as much as Brody but I do! You! I love you both kiddos more than life!

Always remember how utterly beautiful you are. And remember your true beauty is from Jesus and that the world sells us lies on beauty. You are beautiful when you love instead of hate, when you forgive instead of holding onto something, when you give instead of receive, when you tell the truth instead of lie. Being beautiful isn't always easy, but it is always worth it. A beautiful soul will create a beautiful girl and a beautiful appearance!

Remember to keep God first. He is the most important thing in life. Remember that He will provide everything you need. Always look to Him and seek him 1st!

You are finally sleeping through the night - wahoo!!!

Every day is a joy, blessing, and honor to be your mama. I hope we grow closer and closer as the years pass. I cannot wait to see what you become and watch you grow into a beautiful young woman! I love you more than you will ever know sweet p! Happy birthday!!

Hey sweet babies!


February is here and I cannot believe it! Payton, you turn 9 months old this month!!! Brody, you are growing and learning like crazy!!!

Brody, this month you did well in school! You are learning lots and enjoying being with your friends. You can count to 10 easily, say your ABC's, spell your name, recognize letters, know all your colors, can say many colors in Spanish, can count in Spanish, memorized your first Bible verse, and love singing "Jesus loves me" and "My God is number One". Ocassionally you will throw in "Baby Jesus we love you!" (Christmas song!) You had your first ear infection this month. It got bad quick. You woke in the middle of the night saying it hurt. We decided to let you try school. You kept complaining so we made you an appointment for later that afternoon. In the afternoon you screamed and screamed and you did have one. Later on, your ear drum ended up bursting!! Poor boy! You had blood in your ear and nose! So we had to do antibiotics and ear drops. You did not like either but took your meds ok. But after a check-up, it all seems healed up! 

We also had our first snow. You loved playing in it! We took you sledding again this year and you LOVED it, unlike last year. We did it a million times. You also built a snowman with daddy in the front yard and you used rock from our fireplace for eyes and a mouth. :) We are also looking at houses this month and you have dont so great going in and out a million of them. You love running around the empty ones!




Payton, you had your 9 month check up this month!! You weighed in at 21 pounds and 27 1/2 inches. 75% for weight and 65% for height! Our chunky healthy girl! You experienced snow for the first time in your life this month! You are NOT a fan. You dont like the warm clothes, the cold, or trying to "play" with it. You just wanted to go inside and be warm and watch bubba and daddy! Who can blame a girl! :) You scoot and crawl every where! You are fast! You put everything in your mouth that you touch! You have an obsession with Maverick food and water bowl. We have to watch you like a hawk!! You also got another ear infection at the end of the month! It started with RSV. You had lots of drainage, which turned into a double ear infection! :( You had to take Augmentin and we all hated it! Bad diarrhea which led to a bad diaper rash. If you keep getting these we may be looking at getting you tubes. :( I hope they are done!!!


For Valentines, Brody had Valentines that said "I wheelie like you" with motorcycles attached. Payton's said "You blow me away" with bubbles attached! Mommy and daddy had a date night at the church on the 13th. They provided child care! You both did great. Payton, you were the only baby who went to sleep (It ended about 9/9:30) while all the other babies cried! You go girl!!! :) Everyone talks about what a great baby you are. And I agree!


Yall had lots of one-on-one time with parents this month. Mommy had to stay late one night for Math night at school so you both got lots of Daddy time!! Daddy went on Winter retreat at the end of the month so we had a mommy weekend! Lots of fun!! We played in the "mud", had tickle fights, played with play clay, went to church, and facetimed. Brody, you were so excited to see daddy when he pulled up. You ran right outside at the church right too him! I had to stop my conversation with someone so I could catch you! :) You are a daddy's boy! You reminded me often that you missed daddy!! :) Thats a good thing!

January 2015

Happy New Year Love Bugs!!! I cannot believe it is already a new year! 2014 held many exciting times for us! Payton joined our family, Brody turned 3, and many more things! I cannot wait to see what 2015 has in store for us!

We started the month off in Killeen for New Years then headed to Dallas for Christmas with mommy's side of the family. We got back home and hit the ground running with you kiddos going ack to school and mommy going back to work. We also got to celebrate mommy's birthday with some friends at Olive Garden! Yummy!

We did not have a whole lot going on this month outside of our normal routine. Payton, you decided to start only sleeping about 30 minutes at nap time. Mommy ordered you a Zipadee-Zip (we saw it on Shark Tank) and it has worked wonders. Now you sleep from about 1:30 to 2 hours at nap time at school! Brody, you have also had a hard time nappying recently. Some days you do, some days you dont. You NEED to all days.

It been pretty cold this month but we have had a few warm(er) days. On those days, we cannot keep you inside B man. You LOVE being outside! So we let you as long as your little nose and hands can handle it!!

We have gone up to the gym a few times this month at church. We take your electric Jeep Brody and your walker Payton. Brody, you drive all over the place and Payton you just walk away in that stroller! Yall love it! You did run into Payton once Brody. Scared mommy to death! But all was okay!

Brody, you are tenderhearted! If you ever think I am sad, you always say, "You ok mommy? Don't be sad!" Then you rub my back and try to make me feel better. You LOVE playing pretend!! You like to be Batman, Spiderman, a puppy, a frog, mommy, daddy, nana, papa, and a baby. Everyday you end up being one of these things! You love to pretend! You also love to be chased, chase others, and have us spin you in a circle! You love to be tickled. That sweet little laugh could cure any blues! You are also super routine! We play, eat dinner, take a bath, read our books and pray, watch a video, eat applesauce, play the "Baa" came for the first two lullaby songs, play the head game during Twinkle Twinkle, and then its off to sleep. During Baa, we each go to sleep then wake each other and say  "Baa". Whoever is "awake" has to drive the one "asleep" to the doctor. We have to change their "batteries", then give a kiss on the cheek. then they wake up! The head game - you put your head on your pillow and your tush in the air. Then mommy and daddy push your bottom back and forth. Then, before we leave, you say your belly hurts and you need water. Then you always start saying random things "I dont find.....", "My leg hurts", "I need to say good night to daddy", etc. You are funny! You got to have Paul and Luke come over one night as well and you loved that!!! You also know that Mommy loves you "SSSSOOO MUCH" and "TO the moon and back".

Payton, you are a girl on a mission! You started CRAWLING this month! You started really crawling well on 1/29/15!! We cannot stop you now!! You LOVE it! You also love pulling yourself up. You love talking and making noises. You eat baby food lots! Your favorites are carrots, strawberries, bananas, sweet potatoes, squash, peaches, and oatmeal. You don't like green beans or broccoli! You love bath time. You cry when we take you out. You LOVE splashing, especially with Brody! You stopped using your paci for a while but started again at the end of the month. Brody can also make you laugh and squeal so easily! You love seeing mama when she gets home. You are a mama's girl. You also give "kisses"! You go to sleep about 7 and wake up between 6:30-7. Some nights you go all night and some nights you need 1 feeding. You are so sweet and happy and full of life! You also got your second ear infection this month along with a 104 fever! Not fun. Mommy enjoyed cuddles but glad you bounced back quickly. Hopefully you dont keep getting them!

I love you two little bugs so much! Life with you is so fun!!! I love you more with each passing day. There is nothing I wouldn't do for you two. I am always there for you, will always support you, love you, and cherish you. I will always be your biggest fan. Thanks for making life so much better with you in it!

December 2014

Brody and Payton,

My oh my! December was quite the whirlwind of a month!!!! The first weekend Mommy and Daddy had to go to a Christmas party. This Christmas party was in Conway, AR which is about a 3 hour drive. Brody, your teacher, Ms. Heather, came over and watched you. The Snodgrass boys also came to our house. We rode with Mark and Lauren to Conway. Yall played with Ms. Lauren, got to eat pizza, played with Paul and Luke, watched videos, and had your first semi-sleep over! The boys left about 1:30 am when we got home. Paul said he told yall stories before going to sleep! Ms. P, you would not let Heather put you down! :)

The next morning, December 6th, we had Angel Breakfast. It is a breakfast for pre-school kids. We had pancakes and sausage and fruit. Then there were a bunch of activities for Brody to do along with lots of balloons! We also got to take our picture with the Angel. There was a petting zoo outside but you were not too interested B man.

December 13th, the next weekend, we went to Lowes Build and Grow. Brody, you got to build your own wooden train. You got to nail things in and make it! You really enjoyed it! Straight from there we went to the Bentonville Christmas Parade! Both kids enjoyed it but were pretty done by the end. Sweet P you are one heavy girl to hold for a long time. We had to switch you out! :)

The next day, Sunday, Brody you had your Christmas program with In His Image. You actually sang and participated this year. You seemed to really enjoy it!! It was very cute watching you!!! Sweet P, you did good staying quiet and watching brother! You both also got to take your picture with Santa Clause! This was the first time for Payton. Brody, this was the first time you actually told him what you wanted. You wanted a Race Car Track and a Bike!

December 16, we went to the mall and had pictures with Santa done there. You told him the same thing. Payton, you don't smile for pictures, but we got one with both of you looking!

December 21, we headed to OKC. We spent the night there with Josh and Mindy. Monday morning we got up and headed to Lolly and Peeps. Brody you were so excited!!! Both of you did well in the car!!! Monday we got there and hung out. We ran a few errands and just enjoyed being there.

Tuesday, Brody woke up with a strange rash on his face. It didn't bother you too much so we just got some cream and let you be. We went to the discovery zone in Bentonville. Brody, you loved the foam toys and balls. You also loved the thing where you put a ball in it and it goes in circles until it falls down the hole. Payton, you were just easy going in your stroller. We did notice your cheeks started getting really rosey.

Wednesday, Payton you woke up with a fever, red cheeks, and very fussy. We decided to take you to an Urgent Care clinic even though it was Christmas Eve. You ended up having Flu B and an ear infection. We got you Tamiflu and Amoxicillin. Mommy and daddy were feeling great either so we figured it was part of that in us too. When we got home daddy slept alot! That night we went and were able to get yall's footprints on plates! The next day you seemed much better Payton!

Christmas Day, Brody woke up about 7:15. We started gifts about 7:30. Brody, Santa brought you a race car track! Payton, Santa brought you a ride and push toy! You both got lots of toys!! Also for Christmas, Brody got a Leap Pad 2, a bike, a punch bag toy, games, clothes,play clay, shoes, puzzles, a toy box made by Papa, a table and chairs, cars, bath toys, stuffed animal, books, and plenty more. Payton got a sit and stand toy, a toy box, shoes, socks, bath toys, clothes, teethers, balls, dolls, stacking toys, and a cookie jar toy. We are very blessed with a family who spoils yall throughly!

Daddy went and slept for a while after gifts. Mommy wasnt feeling great but we stayed up with yall. At nap time, mommy slept a little too. We went to Aunt Kathy's house that night and saw all our family! Mommy got really sick that night.

The next day mommy and daddy went to the doctor. We got shots because we had strep!! No fun. Mommy started feeling better that night. We were able to hang out with more family Friday night!

Saturday we headed to Nana and Papa's house. It was a very long trip. Kids did pretty well but long. Sunday we went to church and saw lots of mommy's friends. Lynnlee and Chris came that night. Monday we hung out at the house and got ready for dinner. We opened present that night then had Christmas dinner together.

Tuesday, Daddy and Papa worked on toy boxes. Brody played with Cooper a lot and Mommy helped Nana with some things. Tuesday night we went to Spare Time and played bowling and laser tags and games. It was lots of fun!

New years eve, we worked more on toy boxes, ran some errands, and hung out. We had dinner together and watched the ball drop. New years day we did a little shopping, rested and got ready to go to Dallas.

Friday we headed to Dallas and got to see all of mommy's side of the fmaily. We got there that night. We played games, had pizza, and had fun. Saturday we went to Granny's aparmtment complex. We had breakfast together, opened gifts, and had lunch together. Brody, you had fun decorating cookies and playing the piano!!!

Brody, you are in a phase where you don't like to listen much. You are so independent and strong-willed. We are trying to figure out a happy medium where we allow you to still have a spirit and will and be happy, but also learn to obey and follow directions. It is tough for both of us!

Payton, you are a happy baby! You smile so much! You usually just wake once during the night. You eat 4-5 ounces at feedings and are eating baby food a couple times a day too. You LOVE to stand up and HATE being on your belly. You are ggetting close to crawling. You kick your legs on your belly.
