July 2012 - 10 months

Brody,

How is it that you are already almost a year old!!! July has been a fun month for us! You and mommy have gotten to spend a lot of time together and mommy has loved it!!!

July 1-7: July 1st was our first Sunday at Bentonville Church of the Nazarene. It went really well!! We were so welcomed by so many people! This week we spent time at home together, going around town getting to know it, and time as a family! On July 3 we went to the Red's to celebrate the 4th. Most people celebrate the 3rd because they have the 4th off and not the 5th. So on the 4th, Mommy and Daddy took you to see fireworks. You stayed awake and watched them surprisingly! Lolly and Peeps were here visiting until Sunday too! On Sat, June 7th Daddy left for Mission Trip to Colombus. Mommy was very sad to see him go but excited about another week with you!! Nana, Peepaw, and Granny came in the evening this night though so it made Daddy being gone better!

July 8 - 14: This week we went to church. Monday we took Peepaw and Granny to Eureka Springs. It was a neat town to see and of course, you did great in the car. You, Nana, and mommy had a great week of swimming, running errands, and just hanging out and relaxing at home! Nana, Peepaw, and Granny left Saturday so you and mama just stayed in Saturday and relaxed. 

July 15 - 21: Daddy came home Sunday!! YEA! we were so excited! We had another week of just relaxing, spending time as a family, and getting to know the youth. We went to the library and just had fun together!

July 22 - 28: This week was much like the week before! Julie and Difab came and visited. We went to the safari in gentry and saw lots of animals!:) We had lots of fun with them this weekend! We also went to the splash pad and had fun!

July 29 - 31: This is mommy's last week home before work so mommy is soaking up all her time with you!!! We have had so much fun together!!!

June 2012 - 9 Months Old!

This has been a crazy month for you big boy!!!

June 1-9: Mommy finished school on the 2nd!!! Mommy was so excited to get her summer started with you! On the second we also drove to Killeen for a baby shower for Kayce. You of course did great and were an angel the whole time. Aunt Lynnlee and Cooper rode with us. On Monday the 4th we headed to youth camp! Yes you went to youth camp!! You did a great job!!! Nana came and took care of you for the week. You both enjoyed it a lot!!

June 10 - 16: This week was crazy and not real fun for you. Mommy and Nana had to do a lot of packing for our move to Bentonville, AR. I hated having to leave you playing alone a lot but for the most part you did fabulous. Papa came Wednesday to spend some time with you! Wednesday night the youth gave us a farewell pool party! It was lots of fun! You had your first swimming experience!

June 17 - 23: On Sunday it was Fathers day. You gave daddy a tent for yall to use in Arkansas together. We also flew to Jacksonville Florida for a vacation as a family! You had your first beach visit, your first zoo visit, your first visit to Florida. We also went to St. Augustine and saw the oldest fort. The picture of you sleeping was after that day - wore you out!! You did great on the plane too!!!

June 24 - 30: This week we loaded up our truck and moved from Katy, Texas to Bentonville, AR. We went to Dallas Tuesday night and finished the rest of the way Wednesday. Lolly and Peeps came to help us get settled and of course spend time with you! They loved it! We showed them what we knew of Bentonville and went to Crystal Bridges. 

This has been a crazy but fun month! You are ALMOST pulling yourself up by yourself any where any time. You Babble a lot and say mama and dada. You love bath time, walks, sand, and swimming.
